Help Identifying Silver Coin with Arabic Inscriptions [solved]

6 posts • viewed 129 times

Could someone please help me identify this coin and create a new catalogue entry if it isn’t already listed? I’m still new to numismatics and unsure about the specific details to include. The coin appears to be made of silver and features Arabic inscriptions on both sides, possibly from the Mughal or a regional Sultanate period. Any guidance on its attribution, ruler, or mint would be greatly appreciated.

could someone make a new entry of this coin in the catalogue:

weight: 5.60 grams

diameter: 20mm

could it be this one? As the diameter matches but the print is slightly off:

Thanks @Frenchlover  for confirming. I have added my coin to that collection. Could you please check and let me know if I have added it correctly?

Your input will be reviewed by @sujit_kumar who will confirm the RY.
