Is this the first time of all this forum? If not, then I am the first. Prediction may be true, but mostly not.
Anyways, welcome to the prediction, where you can freely think which countries could issue the new coin series for general circulation–aside Bulgaria which is confirmed that they will replace the lev with the euro starting 1 January 2026.
Bhutan has been printing new polymer 100, 500, and 1000 ngultrum banknotes and will be entering into circulation starting January 2026, making the second country in South Asia to print polymer banknotes after Nepal.
Thinking of predictions, here are the countries that I could predict for new series of coins aside Bulgaria and banknotes aside Bhutan by 2026:
Coins
- Argentina (possibly 50, 100, 200, and 500 pesos)
- Belize
- Ethiopia (1 and 5 birr)
- Honduras (1, 2, and 5 lempiras)
- Mauritius
- Sudan (possibly 10–100 pounds)
Banknotes
- Guatemala
- Honduras (to complete the style of the new 100, 200, and 500 lempira banknotes)
- Libya (to complete the polymer series for 10 and 50 pounds)
- Vietnam
If one of the countries I listed is actually released either coins or banknotes for general circulation, congratulate me.
