Why would a German coin made in a German town with German people have a Croatian name? (German in this case meant as a culture/language group, nations did not exit yet)
As it was quite a popular trade coinage there seemed to have been quite a few imitations of them probably also in Croatia/Dalmatia and around the Balkans maybe you can call those that Croatian name.

I have not seen the name Frizatik anywhere. All auctions seem to use the name 'Friesacher Pfennig’, whether written in German or English. In my understanding the Friesacher pfennig has become a type of coin, not necessarilly minted in Friesach (although initially it was). As documented by the CNA catalogue in their classification.
