Hello, and I hope you are well!

I am requesting the moving of the issuer “Emirate of Qunduz” from the section “Greater Iran” to the section “Late Central Asia”.

This small state was located around Qunduz, as well as the Central Asian cities of Hisar (Tajikistan) and Tirmidh (Uzbekistan). The Emirate of Qunduz is classified under the Later Central Asian section of SARC's Checklist of Islamic Coins, 3rd Edition, which is the primary reasoning for this move. Culturally, the Emirate of Qunduz was also closer to states such as the Arabshahids and Shaybanids, due mainly to it's Timurid history and territory in the Central Asian countries of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Name: Emirate of Qunduz

Map Location: Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan

Predecessors:Timurid Empire”

Introduction: The Emirate of Qunduz was a small Islamic state in Late Central Asia, founded by Amir Khusro Shah, Timurid Governor of Qunduz, in 902 AH

Format:

Central Asia

----- Late Central Asia

---------- Emirate of Qunduz
