Introduction: The Walid of Balkh was a minor Islamic state centered around Balkh, descended from Wali Muhammad of the Janid Dynasty of the Khanate of Bukhara.

The 3rd lvl section “Balkh” under Late Central Asia needs to be added alongside the Walid of Balkh, as a second local dynasty (The Chingizid of Balkh) I have also requested the addition of. This would also mirror the other sections in Late Central Asia, such as the third level sections Bukhara & Tashkent, which hold 4th level local dynasties within them.
