Crane Currency's website indicated that it uses material from this company; however, the company's specialty paper is advertised as a special paper, similar to hybrid paper but 100% cotton. So technically, the paper is called Endurance AST®. According to the website, it would be a type of cotton paper treated with a substance. This is characteristic of varnished paper.

I think your key words are Varnished Paper.

This is from Google search

Quote “It is a clear liquid that is applied to the surface of printed materials, offering a barrier against external factors such as dust, dirt, and moisture. Varnish also improves the tensile strength of paper-based packaging, making it more durable during shipping and handling.” unquote

This is Hybrid, imo.
