Hi

I would kindly ask, if someone can explain to me the difference in these two searches. In layman's terms I would tend to believe the result should be the same, but is not. I am searching for a specific token type in my swap list.

1. Searching in My collection I get 75 results (correct)

2. Searching in Catalog with added filters (My collection: in & Available for swap: yes) I get 547 results

Within the second search I would expect to also find only 75 results. It seems as the additional filter “My collection: in” is not recognized.

Thank you

Available for swap means somebody has that item for swap.  As long as one member has it on their swap list it counts. It doesn't mean it on your swap list. And yes, "My collection in/out/both" is ignored. Probably shouldn't be.

I understand as showing what types you have in your collection are available in all users' swaplist

Also the “available for swap” does nog give correct results, also non-available items are shown

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

It may, but what would be the purpose of this?

I don't know, I never used these two filters together, but maybe searching for years you lack in your collection or items in better conditions. I agree that this combination doesn't seem much useful, tho

I believe this bug and this one are related: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic169711.html

Does it only happen when All issuers is selected? Try it with selecting a specific issuer.

Another way to make this work until it is fixed when using All issuers is to add “” as the lettering.

See if this works: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=&st=23&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&a=&dg=&i=%22%22&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=y&wi=&sw=y

Not working either. You search result probably lists all tokens in my collection list, that are available for swap. Not sure how this would be helpful to anyone (from search result point of view). Maybe if user adds a remark I wish to get this piece (due to low quality), but then again you can select RB type from My wishlist search options. Never mind…

I was trying to say that when All issuers is used with other filters the filters don't work properly. You've just stumbled upon another example. I believe when the other bug I linked is fixed, this one will start working properly too.

It does work for me now … so indeed seems to be the ´all issuer´ issue that it cannot be searched without additional fields. Hope it gets solved as it is not user friendly

See the difference?
