Good Luck tokens & Charms

I enjoy collecting tokens of all types, as long as the object is used as some sort of money. But I cannot see Good Luck tokens and Charms as proper tokens because they are not by definition tokens; they cannot be used to redeem any good or service.

Reference:

Tokens: Rigid pieces of material which can be redeemed or used for something under some limited conditions.

Because they serve as objects with no direct utility, should they be moved to Medals?

Medals: Rigid pieces of material that have no direct utility. The purpose is generally a reward, a souvenir or beauty.

Yea they have no trade purpose, I don't see why they are not listed in medals. They serve a similar function to religious medals

Should I make a request to move the good luck tokens and charms to medals?

The whole category would have to be moved to medals, something only the admins can do

I have made a proposal in the Numista website forum to move the categories to medals.

Doesn't the entire Spiritual tokens type fall under this?

Not really; some items such as N#157742 was actually used for commerce. This token apparently was used to purchase food made by the people in the temple.

In my opinion the religious token section is sort of a mess with obvious medals mixed in with real monetary tokens.
