Because Good luck tokens and charms are not tokens by definition (they cannot purchase goods or services), I propose to move the two categories to Medals.

For Reference:

Tokens: Rigid pieces of material which can be redeemed or used for something under some limited conditions.

Medals: Rigid pieces of material that have no direct utility. The purpose is generally a reward, a souvenir or beauty.

Thanks

Doesn't the same argument apply to these categories:

I said this in another post, but not all spiritual tokens fall into medals. For instance N#157742 is actually used as a proper monetary token. Apparently this token was used to purchase food made by the people in the temple.

In my opinion, the whole category of spiritual tokens is a mess with medals mixed in with real monetary tokens.

Regarding play money, it should not move to medals because as their category applies, they are useful. In fact I remember in my old elementary class they used plastic play 25 cent coins to ”purchase”  tiny toys and pens.

I would say that attendance tokens should also be moved to medals as well.

In my opinion, this token is not a religious token, it is a trade token (there is not a suitable subtype… Business tokens > (new) Shop in religious building ??? ).

According to Wikipedia, communion tokens are used to allow entrance to receive Holy Communion.

It could be… Service tokens > Other entrance tokens

Aren’t they Tokens that are used during religious activities?

We have these types:

  • Spiritual tokens > Religious tokens
Tokens that are used during religious activities.
  • Service tokens > Other entrance tokens
Tokens used to grant access to [other] service.
  • Religious medals
Medal worn or received as part of some religious activity.

I said other entrance tokens thinking that they are used to grant access to the room where receive Holy Communion (Other entrance tokens) not are used during the Holy Communion (Religious tokens).

But if we see the Holy Communion as part of a broader religious activity, could be religious tokens.
