would it be possible to put a checkmark next to coins owned in a series?

This would make sense if the series had few objects. Otherwise, the page does not display them all.

search results pages don't show all objects all at once either, but checkmarks are showed

exactly, you are not showing all the objects in the series, but checkmarks are there.

It would be nice to see checkmarks also on the series main page
