Unknown Indian Coin #22 [solved]

5 posts • viewed 51 times

Hello all,

I have a coin that I believe to be from pre-modern India.

Here are the specs:

  • 3.17g in weight
  • around 18mm in diameter
  • nearly 2mm in thickness
  • Bronze composition
  • Seems to be some numbers at the bottom on one of the sides of the coin

Hope to hear what this is!

Juchid, AE Pul dated AH762  so Khizr Khan, AH761-762 (1360-1361 AD)

Vic

Ok perfect!

Now I looked it up and I found two coins that were similar to it:

N#179996

N#162998

Which one would it fall under?

Excellent ID by Vic65. 👏

It looks like this one in Zeno from Sarai al-Jadida, same AH 762 date as yours but different striking position on flan.
