Trying to get years (not gregorian) from API

I have started accessing the API with the types/{type-id} endpoint. This gives me most of the information I am looking for.

I would like to have the range of years (not gregorian) for those coins like Japan, Thailand, Nepal, Iran, etc. that do not use the gregorian calendar. The information seems to be available as it is included in the main numista results. But it does not appear easily accessible from the API.

I was thinking as a workaround I could get the years from the API types/{type-id}/issues endpoint where they are listed one at a time, and use those to create a min-max range. This would require a second API call. Or maybe there is a way to use the “calendar” codes to calculate the years from the provided gregorian min_year and max_year. But I am not finding much information about the “calendars” either.

But before going down those roads I was wondering if there is an easy way to access the range of years (non-gregorian) information that I am missing, and I would like to politely request that it be added in a future update.

Thank you
