SWITZERLAND - Médaille, Guillaume Tell et son 1895

Hello everyone.
A few months ago I bought this Swiss bronze medal dated 1895. I saw that the medal was not like other bronze examples. While other medals are in matte copper brown tones, this medal is print proof. The plate floor shines like a mirror under the light and reflects the light. There is a complete "PP" situation going on.
A silver edition of this medal was also made. I think that "if it were proof, it would be silver", but it reflects that it is interestingly different in every way.
It is not included in the numista records at all. I wonder, can it be proof?
I hope the pictures sufficiently support what I say.

Yes. There is also a silver edition.
I'm trying to learn this; Is proof printed on copper or not?
Others of the copper print examples have a matte appearance. My example is; It has a mirror-like, very shiny surface.

As a point of interest, Proof coins tend to have black backgrounds when they're photographed (not sure why though).

Yes; It is a fact that most proof coins have a black background.
The problem is; Why is the surface of mine shiny, while similar medals have a matte surface?
Is it the only example? I don't know that either.
