If for example i search “100 baht” in search bar for catalogue, the results are also 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 500 Baht, but just some of them…

That because some pages might have some “100” writing somewhere, or just “baht”.

That's valid for almost any search

This is not a bug. That's how any ‘x&y’ search functions. You should use an exact phrase search like “100 Baht”.

There will still be false positives like the 20 and 50 Baht (they could be put into a series to remove the other denominations from the comment section) but I have no idea why 500 baht notes are poping up.

but I have no idea why 500 baht notes are poping up.

The 500 baht notes such as N#230489 have the expression “Hundred Baht” in the lettering.

Ah okay, then “search term” is not in fact an exact phrase search.

Yeah, but Xavier said earlier that with the new update and the Face Value field that will be eliminated, if we want to search for a currency and a specific value that is for More than one country we should use Search bar, and if i search 100 Rupees, I want just the 100 Rupees results, not 1-2-5-10-20-50-500 etc

See my other post: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic62094.html#p1312819

Xavier

Thank you all for the feedback.

I understand that the face value field is still useful for fuzzy search where the currency is not known. We will keep it for the moment.

Thanks!
