Hi

I did little research on forum but have not found many of such coins/medals. Within Slovenian numismatics I have stumbled upon three medals/coins which are kind a funny, one even hilarious (decide for your self which one takes the prize). I do mean this, I propose we get a tag for such obvious funny errors. Maybe a tag name “Funny error coins” (I just don't want to wait till 1st April, as then this request might not be taken seriously). Here I do not mean strike errors but errors concerning the design mistakes (grammatical, places or people that do not belong somewhere, etc). I am sure humans have not found all the depths of such errors.

Well, here they are:

N#313270

Slovenska vojska (72. Brigada, Chief of staff, Major J. Budja) - obverse

“chief of stuff”

N#554677

Ministry of Defence (Director of Intelegence and Security Service dr. Damir Črnčec) - reverse

“intelegence and security service” (BTW, I feel very safe and warm and all fuzzy inside about this)

N#409441

Medal - Slovenija (Milan Rastislav Stefanik) - obverse
Medal - Slovenija (Milan Rastislav Stefanik) - reverse

Milan Rastislav Štefánik (21 July 1880 – 4 May 1919) was a Slovak politician, diplomat, aviator and astronomer. He may have flown over the Austrian Empire, or in his last year over The state of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs. In the end nothing in common with Slovenia.

LP

Nowadays jail spelling, or gaol in the past - but not GOAL

N#109408

or N#109495

Millennium with 2 L and 2 N but not MILLENIUM

N#40736

Parliament with A but not PARLIMENT

One of four coins - N#69749

The currency is Sou so 1 = Sou and 2 = Sous and so on.

Yet the maker of the tokens

N#99236

or N#22493

must not have known that and made it 1 Sous plural
