why N#283351 doesn't show up when looking for

EMISSION COMMEMORATIVE OFFICIELLE https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=EMISSION+COMMEMORATIVE+OFFICIELLE

or

OFFICIAL COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=france_section&r=OFFICIAL+COMMEMORATIVE+ISSUE&st=147-149&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&cu=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=&wi=&sw=

but it's found when looking for

 monnaies frappées https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=monnaies+frappées&st=147-149&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&cu=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=&wi=&sw=

?

I see the same issue. I even copied the text from the page (direct, and while editing) to ensure it wasn't a character set issue.

Has the page been edited recently? Could it be that the database needs to be updated after a recent change?

Fun fact, if we search on Google: EMISSION COMMEMORATIVE OFFICIELLE NUMISTA

it is the first result

Means the external search is better than the internal search

well actually none of the medals of this series https://en.numista.com/catalogue/series.php?id=4236 show up

It's the word COMMEMORATIVE.  Remove it and the search works perfectly.

Search for just COMMEMORATIVE in Tokens and Medals and zero hits.

Search for just COMMEMORATIVE in Coins and 86,223 hits.

Using the Lettering field instead works perfectly also.

Possibly that word is read as a cointype ( eg. 'Circulating commemorative coin"). I´ve been using the word standard in free text queries to just get the standard circulation coins.

Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!
