Basic coin?

Got this one yesterday from some change, but this one is very shiny still, and also has those lines around the Queen which I’ve never seen on any coin that kept its shine for so long. Sorry for all the questions, I’m just trying to catch up with all the ones I have to go through. Guessing it’s a basic one that’s just been looked after. I like to be careful in case there are some people out there who like to mix BU or Proof coins in with regular ones.

First, if you think a coin is proof for high quality you shouldn't touch it with your fingers.

For better images leave the coin flat on a surface and take pictures directly from above (adjusting lighting to eliminate glare). Then crop the photos to just the coin.

Your coin just looks like a standard issue, but if it was a proof better images would be needed to confirm.

Thank you for letting me know.

Considering I got this from change at shopping, I wouldn’t have been able to help handling it at first. I’ll wear some gloves in future.

I’ll try my best to get better pictures, as my phone is average for picture quality, mostly. I took these for the angle so the weird lines around the Queen and date were more visible.

I think that’s the best I can do, quality wise.

I put the same type (Left) and a shiny one (Right)

in case this helps.

You missed the part where I said to crop your photos. The more you crop out the easier it is for us to see the coin surface.

Ah, sorry about that.
