Is there a rule to upload pictures? Should they be stored in horizontal or in vertical?

 https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=&st=148-143&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=6515&no=&v=&cu=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&c=&wi=&sw=

Pictures of the obverse and reverse should be rotated upright. For banknotes in landscape format, the long edge should be horizontal. For banknotes in portrait format, the long edge should be vertical.

so N#415861 should be rotated?

This one N#415861 absolutely. This one I would say either way is right. N#479484

ok I opened a request of automatisation with mr. Robot

Can Mr. Robot tell the difference?

no idea, we will see

Hello!

The second message on the forum gives us a guideline; but we can always have some particular cases. As a rule, common sense can be used.

On the 100 Lire note, the reverse should indeed be vertical. On the 150 Lire note, it could be either way, without any rule violation. =)

If there aren't too many examples, I suggest the referee make these adjustments. Mr. Robot may not be able to help with this.

Vladimir
