Hi, i have one unknown denar. It looks like something from Archbishopric of Cologne. But i cant find any ruler name for (N)CXIC.
Weigth is 1,39g, 17mm diameter.
The legend in the first image appears to be SANCTUS ?A??LUS. Maybe Sanctus Paulus?
Munster is associated with Saint Paul, but I could not find a match.
Hmmm. Maybe SANCTUS KAROLUS?
The two places I know which are associated with a Saint Charles are Aachen and Zurich, but I couldnt find a match at either place, so maybe there are others.
Have answere for this denar. It is Aachener Denar from Friedrich II. (1215-1250)
