Something doesn't look right... [solved]

Hello,

I just bought a handful of foreign coins from my local antique store and found this oddity.

Can someone give me some information as to why this coin (in the pictures on the left) has a thicker rim? Is it worth something? Or am I just tripping?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Westi

They are from different years. Maybe that's normal for those years?

Looks like a rim fin, this happens when the collar isn't aligned correctly when the coin is struck.

Trippin. This effect can also happen if a coin gets rolled around in the laundry such as in the drum of a clothes drier for example. PMD and not necessarily or likely a defect from the mint.

Alright thank you very much!

Cheers
