Japanese cast coin help?

7 posts
Hello all,
I've found a few Mon that I need help with the variety

The first one is a 4 mon near this: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces15395.html

the 2nd and 3rd are: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces20859.html

But which ones?
Maybe this will help. :)

The first one is the "Normal characters" variety, meaning that it is not the small characters variety (C#6).

The second one is a 1 mon from Fukyu. It is the "closed head" variety, or what I call the マ radical in 通.

The third one is the "delicate characters" variety; the hook at the bottom of 通 curves sharply to the right.

As always, check if your coins are made of iron, using a magnet.

In the future, I will change all the KM#s and C#s to different catalogue numbers like what I did in China - Empire (changed all KM#s and C#s to FD#s). What number I will change it to, I dunno, but I'll try to figure it out.

Hahaha. Funny. Thanks SmartOne
You can call me Kenny G.

I made identifying the 4 mon much much easier by writing out the characters.
