After seeing the thread about Canada retiring the 1 cent coin it got me nostalgic for our (New Zealand) one cent coins and motivated me to start this thread. What 1 cent coins do you love/hate
I love ours:
The early USA cents:
All Canadian cents but this one especially:
I
DON'T like the Australian cents:
the current USA cents:
and although I collect them, I don't really like the Fijian cents:
What are your faves or pet hates?

I actually quite like the Australian Cent with the possum ? on it. I also like the older styles of French One Centimes. This one is my favourite

Oh I didn't realised they'd changed the design. Those look way better, and I agree, the flying eagle is truly majestic

Barbados cents are great and so are those Bahamas cents I prefer them to just 1 star fish. I haven't got one with 3 on yet

I really do like the 3 star fish version. Though if I had to pick a single star fish, it would be the '66-'69 one. It's just a little bit bigger.

Another cent I like because of it's larger size (26mm):
Sierra Leone:
And a penny from The Isle of Man:
And a massive (31mm) penny from New Zealand:
