Very worn copper

Picked this up for a few cents.  I know it's worn and isn't worth a lot, but I'm still very curious if anyone can figure out what coin it was.
Diameter: 25mm
Thickness: 1mm
Non-magnetic
Copper Color
Weight unknown

Looks like Dutch logo but I am not sure.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt
That's what I thought too, but I can't find any examples that have such a narrow base on the crown.  And the reverse of the coin is worn to the point of being blank.

hi

it looks like one of these coins

Not that coin - it is 20mm and the member has a 25mm coin. Right area of the world though, as I can see LER on the right of the coin so is probably THALER on it.  :)

Maybe that one (24mm) - the crown on it has a narrow base, and has the same small cross on top of crown. Also the LER is positioned in the same place.

It seems to be.... "German states - Prussia 4 Pfenninge - Friedrich Wilhelm III"?

I agree - I thought earlier that the image on the shield had what looked like a leg on the lower left !
That coin would have been next on my list to look at - there were 15 results in my search ...

Here they are side by side - looks about right to me.

Quote: glorkar... what coin it was.
Very appropriate wording. :)

I noticed that the guys already found the correct coin, but man, was this ever my first instinct...
