sorry can't until coin arrives, I believe it's Spanish around 1502 but that's all I can tell you at the moment.
No clue, Tony, but I am interested so I posted to see the result. :(
It's a Blanca (=1/2 Maravedi) minted in Seville (see the two letters S), my city. The ·X· on top of both sides is the mark of an unknown official who worked between 1520-1524, so the coin is from Charles V period.

Is the coin of your property? If it is, please change the photos in the catalog for yours, because the currents are from a not member.

Would it be prudent to add to the description of the monogram "crown" and "anchor"?  Would make coins like this much simpler to find in the future.

"Crowned monogram" added to description.

The monograms are a stylized "F" (for Ferdinand) and an artistic "Y" (for Ysabella).

In Tony's coin the upper half of the "F" is very worn. There isn't any anchor.

Thanks for the info.  Not familiar with these coins at all, so I didn't realize it would look different not as worn.

The coin is my property but has yet to arrive, I should have it by this time next week. It would be no problem changing the pictures, however I will post better pictures once arrived.
Coin has now arrived and here are some better pictures.
