Hello

Is there anyone who can indentify this unknown coin?

Thanks

Walid
I think I figured out roughly what the text on each side says.

Obverse: L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP VII (Not sure about the roman numeral could be V, VI, VII or something else)

Reverse: PART ARAB PART ADIAB COS II PP
Two captives, seated back to back, each on a shield.

Hopefully this will give you a good starting point to identifying your coin.
I found something that looks close on this site:

It is the closest I found. Some of the others had the "S" and "C" lower in the field directly in fromnt of the captives.

I agree with Ghali, this is not minted in the style of the roman coins of the time.

Septimius Severus AE Sestertius

OBV: L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP V, laureate head right
REV: PART ARAB PART ADIAB COS II PP S C, trophy with two captives seated below

Van Meter Handbook has the "Real" coin listed as a {VB3} $300-$1000

I think the RIC is 690, there are two variatons (690a, 690b)

There is a good example of this fake on forvms:

This is too good to be a real Roman coin - the biggest giveaway is the shape - far too round!

The old-fashioned hammered method of striking always produced coins of varying shapes & sizes.

Looks cast.

Can anyone identify this coin, what it is, and from which period it originates? If someone has a better image, please share it. Thank you!

Hello. Please don't tack on a new request for identification on a 14 year old post. What's the point of that?  Start a new post, include the diameter, weight and best guess at the composition.

This is not a fake,  it’s poorly terrible made replica.

It’s so bad that I guess is not even made to fool anyone.

I’m honestly baffled that this isn’t immediately obvious to everyone.
