here are the images of two coins, the images sent by a friend, but without measures, unfortunately. We would be glad for any help you can give about their origins, eras etc.
The first one is not very typical on the first face, too many signs and further more what are the "20" (+=) supposed to be? A year after the emperor's start of reign (Japan) or the denomination? Bizarre!
They are both fake. The first is a cast copy (the most faked heavy cash, based on what I've seen), the second is a machine-struck copy.
The coin says 二十, 計重一兩 which means 20 cash, and it has a weight of 1 liang. It should seem confusing since 20 cash is not equivalent to 1 tael, but the weight is calculated, not nominal.
