The old thread is pretty big and taking a long time to load so I thought it's time to start a new one.  Here's my current dashboard.  After refining my collection I now have 779 coins from 93 countries.  Top country is Fiji with 86 coins closely followed by the UK with 82.

Your online collection contains 971 coins: 708 different types from 157 countries.
You currently have 7709 coins to exchange.

I did not put the doubles on the site.
That was in March 2013

A year has passed:

Your online collection contains 538 coins (all different) from 160 countries.

wow it worked still adding
6060 coins
2070 types
232 countries

my top five
US 906 coins
Germany 543
UK 438
Canada 299
France 295
It is, what it is, or is it.
Which countries do you need, Daryl?
I think to fill my map I need Western Sahara[glorkar], Liechtenstein, Faroe island, Comoro island, Pitcairn island, Northern Mariana island, Palau, Micronesia, Nauru, Tuvalu, Nive Ionian island, Madeira island, and new Guinea. I think?
It is, what it is, or is it.
No new countries for me at the moment

But a lot of new types and years for Mexico, currently 261 types.

Pity I didn't start this thread a few weeks ago then.  I just sold a whole lot of Tuvalu coins and I've got some Territory of New Guinea coins that are currently for sale.

Finally reached 100 Countries/Territories, was stuck at 99 for months (wasn't really trying to increase the number, but 100 looks better than "almost 100"). Also, some countries went green since my last post, which is also caused because the new additions to Mexico are now slow so it won't turn the rest of the map blue like after my first huge hauls for it.

Again, it is my map by types, because by amount it would all appear blue except Mexico and USA almost green.

Thanks for a new thread! I had been thinking of starting a new one myself for awhile, but wasn't sure if I should or not. Glad someone else took initiative. :)

My countries are starting to get filled in more and more... I'm pretty impressed with how Central and South America are looking at this point, and I've got several more African countries and one large Middle Eastern country (Saudi Arabia) done since my last map, too. Keep in mind that one of my goals is to get at least 1 coin from every country in the world.

4169 coins, 4168 types (thanks to Polish 2 Zlote of which the 1975 & 1987 is seen as same type) from 255 countries.

Only blank spot is the Saharawi Republic, but I don't believe these coins actually circulated
8) Just decided at the beginning of the year to actually collect World coins. I've been collecting nazi and occupation coins for a while, coins from Israel and France, but finally decided to get one from every country. Here's what I have so far. 2685 coins  371 different types  82 countries  :D

May update after several swaps, some of which are still in transit but I add the coins once the packs are sent to keep control over what I ask from other possible swaps.

USA Types increase greatly thanks to a kilo swap. And Africa is finally filling up, but there are still a lot of countries and territories empty over there. Americas almost there!

If you open both images in different tabs and switch from one to the other you can really see the changes.

Trying to complete my large cent collection right now. Any help would be appreciated
Old thread revival alert!!!! (;0 I think there was a recent thread like this not so long ago but I think it has got lost in the numista database abyss.

Might as well add mine, even though only a 1/4 of my collection is added so far..... :°

Still unregistered some euro coins but here is my new filled map (need a few countries to definitely fill it but not sure all would be available, particularly for archipelagos)

Africa isn't as filled in as it looks because the West African States and Central African States are filling in several countries that I don't really have.

Don't worry, CAS are easier to fill than you can expect as circulating coins existed for BEAC countries (100F & 500F). However WAS are not similar as no country was allowed to make its own circulating coinage, only commemorative, with notable exceptions of Guinea-Bissau as lately joining the BCEAO and Mali withdrawing for a few years before joining back.

I do like balance so my board isn't too colorful-except for my own country USA.

Hi All
Don't really understand it but
my profile says 2328 coins / 333 countries
yet dashboard 2253 different types from 325 countries
go with profile as I know new countries added
Yorkie, the reason why there is a difference between the amount of countries at your profile and the amount of countries at your dashboard is as follows: you use a lot the personal comment boxes to write some kind of code (ms, mz=, me, as, as---ms and many more), even for coins you haven't filled a check box for. So there are 8 countries where no coin is filled in the check boxes, but where you've written a personal comment. Countries where you don't have coins from aren't counted at your dashboard, but if you've written a personal comment, even if you don't have any coins from that country, those countries are counted too at your profile. I guess it's some kind of bug that these countries are also counted at your profile.

Those 8 countries are:
- Central African Republic
- Crete
- Danish West Indies
- French Afars & Issas
- Madagascar
- Qatar & Dubai
- Vietnam - Empire
- Yemen - People's Democratic Republic

2476 coins/1001 types from 120 counries
Most of my collection are European coins, leaving quite a few grey areas in Africa and Asia.

hello,
A revival for this post as I just passed the 400 types for Austrian coins sensu lato:

I collect by types.
Part of the change was due to modifications in the country list, but mainly reorientation of my collection.
