Canada 1 Cent 1982 - 1989

Recently looked up the Canada 1 Cent from 1982 - 1989 and in its heading and coin characteristics states that it's 12 sided, yet the picture and the coins I have (2 from 1984) are all round.
 
Just wanted a clarification on this and potentially corrected is this is incorrect (or put with the individual coin(s) that is 12 sided).

Every single Canadian cent I've ever seen from 1982 to 1996 has been 12-sided.

Ok, well I'm confused, as looking at the particular page in question (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces427.html) it shows a round coin, which is the same that I have in my collection.

Are there 2 different coins that have been identified as the same coin?

Alright the picture on the page is cropped so it doesn't show it but it is 12-sided. The sides are very difficult to see as it is only minor (nothing compared to the 50c Australian coins). If the coin is circulated it is even harder to tell this. He's completely correct. They are all twelve sided, even though it might not look like it at first glance.

Oh, ok. Thanks for that. Looking closer at them I can tell the 12 sides. Guess I wasn't looking for that fine of a edge on them and just took it at first glance as being round.
