Obverse: Laureate draped bust of George IV, left
Lettering: IN MEMORY OF GEORGE THE FOURTH

Reverse: Weeping willow bending over funerary urn on plinth
Lettering: BORN AUG 12 1762   CROWNED JULY 19 1821
 The urn is inscribed: OBIT JUNE 26 1830

Size: 25mm
Metal: Brass


 The willow tree and urn made me think of the medallion I have, but I now see mine is 1837

 The crowned orb of Nuremberg is called a Reichsapfel, which appears on the reverse. The obverse sometimes has crowns and fleur-de-lis, or ships, and so on.

 A copper-alloy Nuremberg Rose/Orb jetton, struck under Hans Krauwinckel II, 1586-1635
(cf. Mitchiner 1988: 439, nos. 1518-1526).
Obverse: Three crowns and three lis alternating around a central rose.
Reverse: The Reichsapfel within a double tressure of three curves and three angles.
