Just wondering if anyone knows much about the Dutch Gulder ( 1939 ). When holding the coin with the Queens face upright, the crown on the other side is upside down. Is this correct?
Your help is much appreciated

Hi Kros, Welcome to Numista!
Yes, it is correct. It is called "coin alignment", which is the correct orientation for this coin. See
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6070.html
).
The orientation for coins where the image on the back is also the right way up, is called "medal alignment".
