joseph......i have just registered to this site.....and a beginner.

please take me through as to how i should search thru th site to help me identify some coins that i cannot make head or tail off.
i know there is a search in the catalog section, but once you lick on this it asks for a lot of info which i dont have other than the coin itself and a scan copy. the language or the date identification is a problem with me as well, yet you people are amazing and are able to pinpoint coins for identification immediately.....how do you do it ?????

Shashi, there is no proper way to search for this particular coin you posted (a hammered coin with varying diameter and weight). I knew the ID because I have a similar one...
The search function is quite useful if the date or country or value of the coin is known...for example a search for 'dokdo' will narrow  down to a few coins... it will also show a 'dokdo tokdo' from Korea      but you get the picture

 meanwhile please keep posting here... providing the diameter and weight goes a long way in ID
