Purchase vs. exchange

I am new to Numista. Instead of "exchange" of coins, can you (I) make arrangements to purchase a coin from another member? I am collecting coins from all over the world for the year 1951. Those are the ONLY coins I am collecting so I don't have any coins to trade.

Have you considered trading away good specimens of your own nation's circulating coinage for 1951 coins?  What country are you in?
