I would have thought you can get most of the coins pictured on ebay separately,
in a fairly good quality and at a fraction of the cost...
even if they are around 60 years old,
And unless any of them are extremely rare
each coin works out to an average cost of $37
And if theyre boxed or cased,
no doubt a certain amount of the money will be for the packaging/case
and even then they average to $25 each after allowing $95 for any fancy packaging.
I reckon its too much and am interested to know
what the experienced Numista members say.
I can't see the years in the photo, but pre-decimal English coins are generally worth nothing here in the UK. I should expect to pay perhaps 20 pence (about 40 c US) per coin, the sixpence and shilling may be a little more.
Even uncicrulated sets of pre-decimal coinage are sold for very little, but it does depend on the year of mintage.
You can ZOOM the photo using the browser features,
I think its called deep zoom and though its mainly sposed to work with HD photos but it works for most...
IF that is a 1952 shilling, and the design is wrong (that's a QEII design, not George VI) then it alone could be worth thousands. I suspect either, its a misreading of the date, or its a very bad fake.
So I should say, no these coins are not worth more than perhaps £20 maximum retail, or about $30 US

I think three of those dates are interpreted wrong, perhaps.
They are all scarce dates then, assuming I got them right.
Top row: Penny 1950 Penny 1951 Penny 1953
Second row: Threepence 1946 Threepence 1949
Third row: Sixpence 1952 Farthing 1956 Shilling 1959 Scottish
I reckon if I were putting together a collection of the scarcest UK coins from 1946 to 1959 those were the ones I would also pick. So a good choice selection. Not sure if I would pay $295 unless good condition.
Needless to say there would not be a 1952 penny, 1954 penny, 1952 English shilling, 1952 halfcrown in there, what with only one or two each known > https://en.numista.com/forum/topic3131.html
