Dear all collectors, here you have a France Kingdom Liard Louis XIV 1655 B Acquigny Mint I believe. Numista link: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3317.html

I am interested on your thoughts, opinions, what would you grade this coin? Could it be UNC? It seems in my hand it even has lot of mint luster! Mind also that was minted in mid 17 th century.

Thank you all!

UNC? No, but very fine
Non est totum quod splendet ut aurum
Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
It's been cleaned, it's certainly not uncirculated, look at the wear on the face of the portrait,  on the "AR" of "LIARD" and on the beading around the border.

I would say probably VF which catalogues at about $45
Thank You very much for your opinions! I thought might be a high grade, because the crown looks quite sharp details, and my thought who knows what kind of minting machines they had, maybe the minting could have been uneven on the coin surface, hence the uneven wear on some parts of the legend.

As per cleaned, I doubt it might have been cleaned recently...maybe 100 years ago, because it has luster and the dark patina.

Appreciate your feedbacks!
