1928 French Indochina 20 cent

I saw this coin on the Internet and wanted another opinion of it. I am interested in buying it but don't know much about grading world coins or telling if they have been cleaned. Thanks.
How much does it cost? We can't know if it is a good deal unless we know the price.
sorry, one thing I forgot. The bidding starts at $9.00 USD. Any opinion on grade?
1928 Is a key date for this coin. Catalogue value is $44 for VF and $90 for XF. Although the image is not very sharp it looks at least VF, more likely VF+ or XF.

Beware that Indo-Chinese coins are faked by the dozen, and unless it comes from a reliable source, I would be hesitant to spend more than $2 on it  :snif:

To our members who have experience with auctioning: is an opening bid of $9 normal for a coin of this value?
For example here is a selection from my opening page on ebay

all from the same dealer in Vietnam with only a 15(100%) review rating.

I would agree with wariness.
Personally I would never touch coins from China, Vietnam and Thailand, so many fakes make it impossible to know if you have been screwed over, low prices are a red flag for me.

The old saying, if the price seems to good to be true, it usually is.  8.

It all depends. Some sellers start their auctions really low to attract buyers.that is usually done in cases where the seller knows the coin will get a high price regardless of the starting bid. But 9 dollars is a good price to start an auction.
