Nice video. No doubt that process for the 2 Euro is the same for the 2 Pound in U.K.
The video did not, I think, mention the edge lettering. I read somewhere that once disc and ring are joined to make the bimetal coin, the next process is adding the lettering to the edge. I assume the edge milling is next. Then in a different topic on here I remember reading that the last stage is the front and back are pressed in one process; so the edge lettering and front/back are done separately and not in one go. So it is 50/50 which way up the edge lettering is in relation to when the obverse is uppermost, namely A or B orientation (some folk collect both). Perhaps the milling is done with the front/back all in one though.
I have two 2 Pound coins, obtained separately about a year apart, that only got so far in the process. They have the edge lettering, but no milling or obverse and reverse on them. The picture shows one side of each, and the other side underneath is equally blank. The coin on the left has an edge that reads STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS which is on the standard £2 (KM# 976 or 994) coin from 1997 to date. The coin on the right has an edge that reads SPIRIT·OF·FRIENDSHIP·MANCHESTER·2002 which is on any of the four Commonwealth Games £2 (KM# 1031 to 1034) coins from 2002 only.
