I notice that the 1701-1800 Standard Catalog of World Coins has the few coins of the Netherlands West Indies (United West India Co.) listed with Netherlands East Indies. Weren't the coins used in the Caribbean?
Don't we already use Netherlands Antilles that way?

Curaco and Netherlands Antilles are listed separately, when they should be listed together. In the case of the two being separate, the West Indies coinage seems to fit more properly under Curaco.

Another kind of colonial rename as well... But such merges will, one more time, launch protests from the French side like did Ceylon (sigh)

We already solved (or started solving) so many problems here that could have been done years ago. And whenever we do something new, a lot of arguments are being heard from direction of those (not naming anyone) about changes that they could have done for themselves a long time ago.
If it makes sense, will not affect searchability and uniformity and it is historically correct, go for it.
There used to be a separate section for Dutch West Indies but it seemed to disappear. I had a few coins and found that they're now listed under Dutch East Indies....go figure.
