I am a geologist with enough experience in gemology and I have doubts someone will grade your gems just from pictures without a proper inspection.
Both Ruby and Emerald this size would be worth so much that you would be entirely sure what they are...

Yes to both of you. Thanks. They are real and I wanted to open up the possibility of serious members looking into jewels being swapped, traded, sold, given, etcetera, on the forum. But there would have to be rules established for the opportunity to participate.
I am happy to comply with every rule.
Thank you, yes sir, no sir, and please.
Just a question my man... if they are indeed real why ask what they are? Also that many carats has to tens of thousands of dollars... I don't think this'll be the forum for that. I'd try a professional auction or store something like that. Cheers!
I have to agree, you wouldn't be asking a small forum what they are and if they are real. Then state you know they are real?

I also do not understand why they would be cut the way they are, what is the purpose of cutting precious stones to that size and shape?

Sorry, but this smells bad to me.

I think Bohannon and our old friend search engine might be two peas in a pod. Maybe Bohannon just got these from his other house and finally want to show them off.

Perfect Numista bargain:

1. Register on Numista
2. Don't have any feedbacks
3. Have a lot of rare golden coins on the swap list.
4. Leave them at your other house.
5. Check for coins to arrive.
6. Log out
:D

You paranoid types have me all wrong. They are not for sale. They are 100% real. I only live in one house.
Perhaps I will remove this thread.

So, you tried to show off and it didn't work? :(

What happened to "I wanted to open up the possibility of serious members looking into jewels being swapped, traded, sold, given, etcetera, on the forum."
I found a gemologist. Andy289. If things work out like I hope, then I might persue that avenue.
Still, it would be nice.
