it has been some time, so I am giving you the latest batch of news:
Numista token - Voting has ended and we have the results - see Numista homepage: https://en.numista.com/
Most Popular Coin Contest is also running! My own Asia coin is already out, so I won't tell you what you should vote for!
There is a quite new feature called country introduction. You can see it for example here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/macedoine-1.html It should be short explanation of the country, in future, there should be link to Numisdoc for country article. If you want to add new one where none is, fix something or rewrite it, send them to me, I will update them.
We have also started Numista completion review. Referees can look it up on referee forum and ask for access if they want to. You others can view it, and if you know something is somehow complete, tell us, and we will update it accordingly. Or you can of course help us complete Numista by your own contributions!
You can find the document here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11VLMOMPDldRXmY7xi8ZmPzY39_wHgWOob8KhrC11uJA/edit#gid=560186752
We also have two new countries: Wales (coming soon) and Netherlands West Indies. Country rework is not ready yet.
Several changes concerning referees:
Spookie - who have been referee for Netherlands East Indies has left the team of referees because time limitations. We can only say: Thank you for everything you done here and best wishes.
AmerSalmeh has become referee for Darfur, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Hejaz.
PetrusAscanus has become referee for Islamic States and Mongol Empire.
Québécois has become a co-referee for Canada. (To be named soon)
Mark240590 has become also referee for British East Indies.
apuking has become Numisdoc admin. (To be named by Xavier soon)
Since the start of the new year, 3825 coins and tokens were added, you can see them here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=simplifie&p=1&r=%2Fnew40%2F&e=&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&g=&f=&c=&co=y&cno=y&cc=y&cn=y&cj=y&ce=y&cu=y&cat=y
Current number of coins and tokens stands on 89,643. Sadly, having 100,000 before Numista 10th anniversary in March is now almost 100% out of hope.
That should be all for now! See you soon!
