A weird windfall...

I frequently post about foreign coins that I scrounge up in public places, but I had a different kind of luck this week.

Some unknown individual left a large cardboard box on the curb in front of my house. It was labeled "stamps".

Inside the box were hundreds of clipped envelopes, a few dozen empty zip lock bags and manila envelopes (unused), a sack of aluminum pull-tabs, a cigar box, and 30 assorted US stamps from 2002-2016.



Uh, thanks, nameless stranger.

I would be scared touching the box, who knows where it's been.
