Collection rankings?

Hi All -
I've searched some past posts but I don't see anything that would let me compare my collection to others on Numista. I've really been working it and I'd like to see how I rank in total coins, different coins, and countries (presently 292). Is there a way to see this?
Thanks ya'll,
Will

It's not all about quantity you know. I'd take a few hundred quality coins over 10s of thousands of modern circulation coins any day ;)
I appreciate the preference for quality over quantity...but I thought I'd just go for both and get 'one of each.' I'm only 53...I've still got time:)

As for countries. There's the 300 country club you can check out. But that doesn't list all members who have 300+ countries. Just those that have posted on the forum

I'm 53 as well, and realized a few years ago already that 'one of each' was way out of reach for an average person. So I narrowed my focus down to collecting one period and one region by type. Like Neil, I find 'focused' collections more attractive than 'any-many-more' ones, but opinions differ, and rightly so.

My goal is to have a collection which reads as a history book of early 20th century Europe. Which I'm finding out now is still a pretty ambitious goal for an average person...

Enjoy collecting!
I have posted on the forum, but I am not included in the 300 club. Any idea why not?
I'm just a collector of coins, not a slave to it, unless I am in a coin shop.
For all you banknote collectors. Link to my swap list.

It's definitely not about the quantity... You can easily buy 10 kilos of coins these days and become top of the list.
The main thing is that your collection makes you happy. It's not a competition - it's a fun hobby.

It's hard to compare collections - you can compare by number, by rarity, by the price but still it won't make enough sense because everybody collect different types of coins...

For instance, first of all I collect coins from San Marino, therefore the only possible comparison would be with someone who also collects San Marino.

Posting on the forum in general isn't enough. You have to post in that specific topic (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic55907.html) and tell there you also reached the 300 countries.
Are send a PM to frenchlover, he's the inspirator of this topic.

Yes, sorry. I meant people that had posted on that particular thread that I had linked to. It's almost holiday time and my brain don't think good ;)

this will truly make a treasure of your collection. I'd like to see that one day.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
