Just been given a 1999 pound coin with the Scottish Lion in my change, it's in really good condition and finally fills a gap in my collection. Glad I didn't pay any silly money for it. Now for the 1998 Royal Coat of Arms.

Very nice luck indeed! I see they are averaging around £50 right now. Hopefully they will get publicity like the Kew for example. Since the coverage over the last 12 months, the Kew has doubled in value and the proof has doubled too. Hopefully it stays that way as I can't bear to part with both of mine! The rampant lion could easily follow that with the right over publicity.
