Obtained from a local charity shop today

Picked up this little lot plus a few odd crowns of 1972, 1977 and 1981. Few silver sixpences and other copper/nickle coins
The farthings, date from 1939 until 1955 with a few dates missing, but most look in really lovely condition, with most having full glowing lustre.
Very pleased with myself.

Does the charity shop often have coins? That's not the typical type of item we see here.

No, coins are a rarely handed into charity shops, but to find so many, and in really fantastic condition. Most of the farthings still have great lustre, although some are better than others, but still, in my opinion, a great find.
