Hello everyone, I have added coins over the past few weeks, two of which are Grace Kelly 2007 Monaco coins, I bought both for 600 Euros since they caught my eye while I was traveling around Europe last October. Now I heard that the coins are worth a 1000 each?! And no, the coins are not fakes, I used my expertise and also the fact that I had them checked here in The Hague. So my question is... do they seriously have such a high value? And would I be absolutely insane to put it up for trade?

Maybe there are three versions (Grace Kelly 2 Euro Monaco 2007).
1] The link Roy gave mentions a test/trial/essai coin.
2] There is a normal (presumably) coin ...

- Proof coin supplied in box. Very Rare.
Condition: Proof
Limited Quantity Issued: Only 20,001 pieces
Description: On the inner part of the coin there is an effigy of Grace Kelly in profile, facing to the left. MONACO, the mint mark, the year mark and the engraver's mark are engraved in an arc at the bottom right of the inner part. The name of the artist R.B. BARON is engraved under the Princess' hair. The twelve stars of the European Union surround the design on the outer ring of the coin.
The most rare 2 Euro Coin!
NOTE: It was unsold at £1,889 - and said the effigy was to the right, so I changed it to left.
Not sure if those other two have a KM# number.

Yes! Its two proofs, no fake "trial/prototype" coins and I was told they are worth a lot of money and are rare. But truly, should I swap one for a coin worth around the same price as that coin?-Daniel
