Hey All, My local coin dealer(a really good guy) has a complete set in Whitman book of the above pennies. Grade on most is VF and XF, some AUNC, and a couple Fine+
This is a beautiful set but in my small town demand will not be overwhelming.
I do not actively collect US so it is not for me.
He is asking $6,000 for the entire set. I have no idea if this is good or not but if anyone is interested message me and I will put you in touch with the dealer.
Depends on the condition of certain dates. The very early dates, which are copper nickel, the 1877, the 1908-s and the 1909-s. If your dealer friend is serious to sell..his descriptions should be much more explicit and he should image it by date on ebay for example.and with a value like that, the keys could be authenticated, graded, holdered, and other coins housed in the minimum of a dansco.

If someone legitimately has a set for sale than it needs to be more than "helping a friend out" or "up to any interested party inquire directly." He isn't offering directly. Everything you're doing is second hand. You haven't given us any contact info. No web site. No ebay listing. If this is legit give us the contact info.
