Old French coin found in Provence France in 16th Century Chateau, need help in identifying? [solved]

I found the above coin with a metal detector around 10cms deep, and cannot find anything like it in French records. I have also found Italian coins in the same area, but not this old. I think on the first image I can see 17-- which maybe the date, but I am lost as to the origin and what it is but maybe the second image is saying its value is 2 something. Please can you help?

You are not allowed to use a metal detector nearby historical or archeological places in France.
Everything you unearth (even in private places) should be reported as well.

We have a strong legislation about that here.
