I bought a 25 dollars of 2017-P cent to sell at a later date. I did open one roll to be surprised what I find. I do not know if this is an error or not or a bad blank. I will post a scan of the subject to see if any of you have an idea what I got
To me, it looks like you have a rolled-in metal planchet error. A separate piece of metal was rolled into the sheet, before the planchets were prepared and the coin struck; then the piece fell out of the coin.
The edges of the area should not be sharp (like they would be if it were a deep scratch).

thanks for lookig into my post a small question do you think i should send it to grading company or not
Errors are less common now, due to improved techniques of finding the errors before they are released from the mint, so they should be more valuable; however, they may not be worth enough to justify the cost of third party grading.
I would suggest studying error coin pricelists to get an idea of the value.
