Whole collection for sale [solved]

Hi, I was formerly Neilithic on this site before I deleted my account, I've made the decision not to collect anymore and to sell off my collection so I set up a new account here to sell off my collection to the wonderful people I've met on this site. I've got around $13,000 worth of coins so there will likely be something for everyone, you can contact me direct if you're after coins from specific countries, but I'll also be cataloguing what I have over the next few weeks so you can see what I've got.

Everything I have I will be asking 50% of the catalogue value or bullion value, whichever is higher. That way I still get more than I would by taking it to a dealer but you guys still get good coins for a decent price.

Welcome back Neil you've been missed by many!

Sorry, daddy needs a new Kayak ;)

I can always start up again if I feel like it, most of the reason I collected was the fun of the hunt, I didn't really care too much about owning the coins.

How much are kayaks in ND? They start at $250 and up to a couple of grand here in Oklahoma. Frisby golf disks 7 to 20 each....

Kayaks are about $600 for basic ones, and I need the roof carrier for the car. Looking for a new mountain bike at some stage too.

I've started listing my first folder, first up is Ireland, UK and Channel Islands. I'm going to be listing them over here on the NZ online auction site as well as soon as I get my scanner working.

You have your collection locked. We can't see the coins.
If your coins are worth $13000, and your selling for 50%, I'll take the whole thing for $6500? Do you still offer free shipping? I know you used to get free stamps.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
I'd be interested t buy ALL your coins from Africa...

It's Neil's collection, I'm pretty sure.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

I've been chatting to a few Numista members on facebook who can say that it's me. Or perhaps this photo of the coin that won me the Australasia section of the MPCC last year will convince you ;)

I am convinced. Saddened but convinced. I collect everything that he hates. But never was he insulting or demeaning in anyway. We are losing a treasure. And over something that should have been incorporated long ago...mint and proof sets.

That wasn't the reason I dropped out, it was the straw that broke the camel's back, but it wasn't the reason I left.

I didn't have the passion for collecting any more. It wasn't fun any longer and I want to be more active, I work a sedentary job and I don't get nearly as much sport done as I would like with all the time I was spending on numista, online auction sites, and dealing with my collection. Playing tennis and frisbee golf once or twice a week just isn't enough exercise. That's why I'm looking to sell off and buy some toys. My older boy has said he wants to buy a Kayak and my younger one is into biking. I thought if I sold out then I can a Kayak too and get out and spend some quality time with my boys before they get too old and move out of home. That time is fast approaching, the older one is 11 already, only 7 more years left.

That's cool. They just opened a kayak course here in okc.

Could you post them as swap to make it easier to see which ones we need.

Some of us are just fascinated by small shiny objects.
I'm currently in a negotiation with someone who is interested in taking the whole collection so I'm on hold at the moment until the discussions with that member are completed.

thanks to everyone for your interest and your patience.

Neil good to hear from you. And hope you the best in your new adventures. And have fun. Hope you and family are well and healthy. And have a great and safe holiday.
It is, what it is, or is it.
Thanks to everyone for the interest. I have now sold the entire collection to one buyer so I'm sorry to everyone who expressed interest in parts of the collection.
