I got my first US 1cent red 1958 with ghosting. But had glue on the front What has left a purple color. Any ideal how to remove?

Yes I was buying smokes again. And found in the Penny tray, extra change. So I took it. But when I removed the glue left the discoloring.

Has a bit of nice ghosting

It was free , but is the purple going to be always there. Any thoughts on removing it.
