Hi all,
I didn't think this belonged in the ID/Value section of forum since it's not a coin or a medal so I am posting here.
Has anyone here ever seen another example of this elongated penny?
It's from the 1939 NY world fair and has an image of the Administration building.
Any ideas of value or rarity?
thanks,
Aaron

Pretty cool item!
I imagine it's probably not too rare or valuable but it's still awesome to see older modified coins than modern tourist ones.

I found similar ones on ebay, but not that exact one with the administration building,
The silver spoon with the administration building seems to have been popular.
There were also round medals, and jelly glasses.
$10 would be a fair price, I think.

i have seen these other 2 from 1935 san Diego world fair which go for about $10-15 each but seem pretty common
